In a former life Hayley, our Creative Director, was a family therapist trained to listen, now she puts those skills into really hearing what our clients want and communicating it to the rest of the team so we bring your garden dream to life.

Our ProcessUpon contacting Fairehaven Gardens we will make and appointment to come and view the space you wish to use and how. Generally this first appointment takes between one to two hours depending on the size of the project and the elements you want to include. For this we charge a flat consultation fee of $200.00, this covers our time on the day and plans prepared for your prospective project which are yours to keep whether you proceed with our services or not.During the initial meeting we will discuss the various aspects that need to be accounted for such as , the amount of sunlight the area gets, your capacity to water plants, budget constraints and how you envisage using the space. Next we discuss the different elements you want to include in the design, artwork, water features, animal habitat, shading, scents, acoustics, plantings, lighting etc.Photo’s of the area are taken and a time for a follow appointment is made where we present plans and samples of materials (where available) that will be used on your project.Once your approval is given on both the scope of works to be carried out and the final quote, a date is set to commence work upon receipt of a down payment of thirty percent of the quote.During the construction phase of the project we will require unfettered access to the space, we ask that clients ensure arrangements are made to facilitate this. During construction we do our best to keep the area clean and free of debris and are very mindful of the occupational health and safety needs not only of our team but also our client.Upon completion of your project full payment is required and a receipt is issued upon bank verification . We take pride in the gardens we create and depend on our clients happiness with our work for our future projects, therefore we ask clients to share any concerns they have either during or after the completion of work so we can ensure they are happy with the outcomes.
